Christiane Schlawitschek awarded ProcessNet Best Poster Award

For her research poster on the pressure effect on single drop impact on hot surfaces Christiane Schlawitschek (TTD) has been awarded the Best Poster Award of the ProcessNet division Heat and Mass Transfer.
The award ceremony was held during the annual meeting of the ProcessNet divisions Mixing, Drying and Heat and Mass Transfer on March 20, 2019 in Essen. Christiane Schlawitschek is PhD student at the Institute for Technical Thermodynamics. Her research focuses on the numerical simulation of transport processes during drop impact on heated surfaces. Particularly, she is interested in what happens at the evaporating three-phase contact line.
