Our offices and labs are located at Campus Lichtwiese of the TU Darmstadt. Office and laser labs are located in building L2|06 (CSI building) on the second floor. All other labs are located in building L1|02.
Arrival by train
From Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station) the RB 82 train calls at the stop “TU Lichwiese/Bahnhof”. Alternatively, take a train to Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof then take Tram 2 which has “TU Lichtwiese/Campus” as its final stop.
Arrival by airplane
Frankfurt International Airport is a central hub in Germany and Europe. From the airport there is a bus that goes straight to the Darmstadt main train station: the HEAG-Airliner Shuttle Bus takes only 25 minutes. The bus departs from Bus Stop 14 across the street from the exit doors of Terminal 1 at the airport. The bus usually departs every 1/2 an hour. From Darmstadt/Hauptbahnhof take Bus K to “TU Lichtwiese”.
Arrival by car
Take the highway exit “Darmstadt” at interchange “Darmstädter Kreuz” and follow the signs for “Stadtmitte”. From there follow the signs “TU-Lichtwiese”. Information on parking can be found on this campus map.
